aiSight.ai Privacy Policy

Effective date: 6 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how aiSight.ai collects, uses, shares, stores and deletes personal information when you use our websites, web applications, dashboards and mobile apps. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.

Who we are

“aiSight.ai”, “aiSight”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to aiSight.ai (formerly SurveyAuto), operated by Adept Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. We provide an AI platform for consumer goods (FMCG) companies, built on a retail outlet census, field data collection and analytics.

Scope

This policy applies to everything we operate under the aiSight.ai and SurveyAuto names (together, the “Service”), including:

the website at www.aisight.ai;
the aiSight.ai web application and client dashboards, including sign-in with Google;
the aiSight.ai / SurveyAuto field data collection mobile app used by field teams and enumerators.

It applies to clients, client staff, field workers, website visitors and anyone else who contacts us. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Terms & Conditions.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Account information: your name, email address, organisation, role and password (if you do not sign in with Google).
Contact and demo requests: the name, work email, phone number, company, primary market and message you submit through our website forms or by email.
Support communications: anything you send us when you ask for help.

Information from Google Sign-In

If you choose “Sign in with Google”, we receive basic profile information from your Google Account. This is described in detail in Google user data below.

Information collected through the field data collection app

Field workers use our mobile app to record information about retail outlets (for example the store’s location, photos of the storefront and shelves, and product availability). While the app is in use we collect:

Photos and survey answersTo record the outlet data the task requires. Field workers should not photograph people where avoidable.

Device ID and IP addressTo secure accounts, prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions and improve the Service.

Device information (model, OS version, language)To troubleshoot problems, improve the app and resolve disputes about submitted tasks.

App performance and crash dataTo keep the app and our APIs working reliably.

Battery status and network signal (Wi-Fi/cellular)To understand the app’s effect on battery life and to adapt uploads to network quality.

Payment details for paid tasksTo pay field workers for completed tasks and keep transaction records.

Information collected automatically on our websites and dashboards

Log data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, dates and times of access.
Cookies and similar technologies: to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the Service is used (for example with Google Analytics). You can block cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.

Google user data

When you sign in to aiSight.ai with Google, we ask Google only for your basic profile. We receive:

your name;
your email address;
your profile picture (if you have one);
your Google account identifier.

How we use it: only to create and identify your aiSight.ai account, sign you in securely, show your name and picture inside the app, and contact you about your account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

How we store and protect it: it is stored in our secured cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase and Amazon Web Services), encrypted in transit, with access limited to authorised staff who need it to operate the Service.

How we share it: we do not sell Google user data and do not share it with third parties, except (a) with service providers that host and run the Service on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, (b) when required by law, or (c) as part of a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.

Limited Use: aiSight.ai’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access: you can remove aiSight.ai’s access to your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and you can ask us to delete the data we hold (see Data deletion).

How we use information

to provide, operate and maintain the Service and your account;
to verify, process and pay for field tasks;
to produce the aggregated retail analytics our clients subscribe to;
to respond to demo requests, enquiries and support requests;
to keep the Service secure and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse;
to understand usage and improve the Service;
to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Client deliverables are built from outlet-level and aggregated data; they do not identify individual field workers or website visitors.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it, unless we must keep it longer to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Contact-form submissions are kept for up to 24 months.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secured cloud hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also turn off location or other permissions in your device settings (some app features will then stop working). To exercise any of these rights, email sales@aisight.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

Data deletion

To delete your account and associated personal information, including data received from Google Sign-In, email sales@aisight.ai with the subject “Data deletion request” from the email address linked to your account. We will confirm your request and delete your data within 30 days, except for information we are legally required to keep. Survey data already delivered to clients in aggregated form cannot identify you and is not affected.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We operate in many countries and may process information in Pakistan, the United States, the European Union and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.
